Red Dead Redemption 2 has eaten up a lot of hours of our time and yours since it released late last year, and it would be really, really efficient if we could take the game on the go. There’s only a certain amount of time you can skip school to play the game after all.
If, say, the Nintendo Switch were to get Red Dead Redemption 2 it’d be a revelation, it’d be amazing, it’d be pretty much never likely to happen. At least, that’s what we thought.
It seems the dream might be more likely than you might have guessed, as Target Australia has advertised the game as being available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch [via NintendoLife].
On page 12 of the newest Target Australia catalogue you can see the game is showing as being available for purchase on all three of the consoles, though it remains to be seen whether this was a leak or just an oversight on Target’s part.

April Fool’s is officially over, but surely this has to be a joke?!
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an absolutely massive game, and it’s hard to see how it could fit in all its glory onto the Switch.
We’ve heard that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt might be headed to the Switch which is barely believable in itself, but RDR2? It doesn’t seem as though the Switch has the capability to ensure a smooth and seamless performance like its Xbox One and PS4 counterparts…
Rockstar Games and Target have yet to comment on the catalogue listing.
What do you think about the ‘news’? Genuine or just wishful thinking? Maybe it should come to PC before it hits the Switch…
