Redfall for PS5?

In other Redfall news, it was recently revealed that the game almost came to PlayStation 5 as well as Xbox, Xbox Game Pass and PC. However, according to Arkane director Harvey Smith, the PS5 development was scrapped after the Microsoft acquisition.

“We were acquired by Microsoft and it was a change with capital C. They came in and they said ‘No PS5, we’re focusing on Xbox, PC and the Game Pass,’” Smith announced.

Possible offline mode?

Additionally, it was announced back in February that Redfall players would have to establish an online connection even for single-player mode. This news was, understandably, met with some upset.

However, in a recent interview with Eurogamer, Smith has announced that they are working on a possible solution to this.
