Resellers are listing copies of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition for a whopping £300/$300 on auction websites.
Earlier this week, a new Nintendo Direct event was hosted and featured a plethora of upcoming games. However, drawing its conclusion, we not only got to see new Tears of the Kingdom gameplay, but also a swanky new Collector’s Edition.
Resellers are asking for more than double the RRP
However, as spotted by The Gamer, resellers were asking close to $400 for the Collector’s Edition pre-order in the US at the time of publishing its article. I’ve just done a quick eBay search and while that price has come down, it’s still not all that much better.

At the time of writing this article, some cheeky resellers are trying to sell The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition for £300 in the UK, and $300 in the US. There are some resellers listing this edition for less, though we don’t think those listings will be around for very long.
To put things into perspective, this Collector’s Edition has an RRP of £109.99 in the UK and $129.99 in the US. What’s more, stock at genuine retailers quickly sold out for this edition. So unless you’re incredibly unlucky and desperate, inflated reselling prices might be the only way to make the acquisition.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition includes:
- The Game
- Steelbook case
- Four-pin badge set
- Poster
- Artbook
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released for Nintendo Switch on 12th May 2023.
