Rick And Morty Season 4 Intro Includes Untitled Goose Game’s Horrible Goose

Rick And Morty’s fourth season has kicked off in style by referencing one of the best – and most hilarious – games of 2019.

The opening sequence for the first episode of the series’ highly-anticipated fourth season shows off a very familiar beak, as Untitled Goose Game’s horrible goose seemingly makes an appearance.

In the video, which you can watch below, Rick and Morty are terrorised by a two-headed goose, who much like UGG’s goose, is a giant pain in the butt.

Naturally, the internet is pretty darn pleased with the supposed Easter egg, which actually hasn’t yet been confirmed to be a direct nod to the game.

At the time of writing, neither UGG developer House House nor Adult Swim has officially confirmed the reference, but it’s looking like it’s definitely a not-so-subtle nod to one of the best indie games of the year.

f you haven’t yet played House House’s recently-released Untitled Goose Game then you’ve more than likely seen a YouTube video, livestream or at least a meme about the phenomenon by now.

The deliciously simple Goose Game has you play as a goose (surprisingly), who has kindly been nicknamed “Horrible Goose,” “That Mean Goose” and “B*stard Goose” by the internet. You follow simple objectives and p*ss off as many people as you can while doing so. You can steal, distract, sneak and – most importantly of all – you can HONK.

Untitled Goose Game is available right now on PC and Nintendo Switch.

As for Rick and Morty, the fourth season is officially here, though this time around it’s only going to be five episodes long. Best make the most of it while it’s here!
