A Rockstar Games employee revealed they’re working on an announced game, proving yet again that something is definitely underway at the lucrative studio.
As spotted by ComicBook, Emil Mujanovic, a senior character artist at Rockstar Games has updated their ArtStation page. According to the publication, the recent edit has removed the reference to their work on an “unannounced project” at the studio.
As previously revealed by the ArtStation page, this was a project Mujanovic had been working on since February of this year. Shortly after this was noticed across social media, the reference was removed.
Sadly, we have no idea what this “unannounced project” might be, but the smart bet would say it’s related to Grand Theft Auto 6.
GTA 6 is still unconfirmed at the moment, and with GTA 5 still raking in the big bucks on the daily, it’s hard to imagine when a new game might be coming. However, next-gen is nearly here, and we surely can’t go too long without a new Rockstar Games game to get stuck into on PS5 and Xbox Series X…can we?!
Hopefully not, as fans suspect that Rockstar might be gearing up for a GTA 6 announcement soon – and for somewhat of a good reason. The company’s official Twitter account for Rockstar Games Support has once again begun responding to fan questions about GTA 6 – something which it hasn’t done for a while.
Reddit notes that though it was once pretty common for the account to answer GTA 6 questions, it hadn’t been doing so for a while, and the response being given is VERY interesting.
Instead of turning fans away, Rockstar Support is now responding to tweets about GTA 6 by telling users to keep their eyes on Rockstar Newswire, its official news section on the Rockstar website, for further details.
Does this outright mean Rockstar is getting ready to make a GTA 6 announcement? Well…no, but it’s definitely curious to see the social media teams begin to once again answer GTA 6 questions and direct users to the news site.
