Twitch superstar and battle royale pro, Shroud, has spoken out against the first six seasons of the world’s most popular television series right now.
HBO’s iconic Game of Thrones is into its eighth and final season, and as the internet blows up with theories, speculations and shocked emojis, those late to the party are scrabbling to watch the show in its entirety before the finale ends.

However, Shroud has warned people away from 75% of the show, saying the first six seasons “sucked” [via TheGamer].
Responding to a stream viewer who complained about the filler storylines in the show, Shroud said: “That guy’s not wrong. Game of Thrones has a lot of bullsh*t.
“It’s a great show, but it does have a lot of bullsh*t, it gets very dull – especially midway.”
He then stated he’d happily miss the first six seasons and just dive right on from season six.
Shroud may be one of the best and most knowledgeable players of battle royale games, but his comments show he might not be as clued-up about the nuances of Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones isn’t just a show about sex and swords – there’s a huge amount of depth to each and every character, with the main cast each having their own well-defined story arc and developmental changes.
Skipping the first six seasons of the show is basically criminal. Sansa would never have gone from spoiled brat to hardened Queen of the North. Arya would never have had to fight her way back to Winterfell. Theon’s journey would have no significance.

If you skip the first six seasons of Game of Thrones, you might as well watch something else, through Shroud did claim to be a fan of the series.
Hasn’t anyone ever told Shroud? It’s about the journey, and not the destination!
