Skyrim Player Discovers Very Rare Cow Encounter After Years of Playing

10 years after The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was originally released; a fan has discovered a very rare cow. Yes, a rare cow in Skyrim.

As picked up by Screen Rant, Reddit user RazcullUK shared an image of a cow with blue markings seemingly cosplaying as Kratos. It’s quite amazing to think that after all these years, gamers are still discovering new things in the world of Skyrim.

Never encountered this before despite playing for years,” said the Reddit user. “If I talk to the farmer, he explains he’s sacrificing his painted cow to the giants. I followed him and they killed him, and the cow ran off. Anyone else encountered this?

Personally, I’ve put a lot of hours into Skyrim over the years and I’ve never encountered the quest in which a farmer is sacrificing painted cows to the giants. But then again, Skyrim is such a huge game, it’s quite easy to encounter something that the next person has not.

Some Reddit users are speculating that the painted cow quest is a result of code left in the game for storylines that the developers never finished.

There are actually some scripts left for a Storm cloak quest where you would gift a cow to the giants and eventually recruit them to the stormcloaks,” says Reddit user Tabris. “There is not much left of the quest but one or two scripts, however.
