Skyrim Player Mods the Game So Much It Looks Like Real Life

An Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim player mods the game so much that it almost looks real. Like seriously, this mod is impressive!

The modder in question is jackfjdah1, and if you recognise that name, that might be because we recently covered their latest Red Dead Redemption mod for Skyrim.

As reported by Game Rant, jackfjdah1 uploaded a short gameplay clip to Reddit, and it’s practically impossible not to be impressed with the realism that this mod brings to the lands of Skyrim.

How does the mod perform?

Questions were asked in the Reddit thread as to whether Skyrim was able to perform at a steady framerate with the mod enabled. Jackfjdah1 responded in the comments claiming that a 40fps was achieved, with a few minor dips in performance. However, given the graphical fidelity of this mod, a dip in framerate is a small price to pay in my opinion.

Furthermore, jackfjdah1 also mentions in the comments of the Reddit thread, that ENB Complex Grass, as well as ENB Grass Collision, were used to not only make the game look extra gorgeous but also for it to react to the player in a realistic way.

In related Skyrim news, someone recreated the game using Unreal Engine 5, and it looks incredible. This recreation perhaps gives us an insight into what The Elder Scrolls 6 might look like. By the way, that game was announced four years ago. So come on Bethesda, sort it out!

Until The Elder Scrolls 6 finally arrives, at least the Skyrim modding community should help to keep us busy for the foreseeable future. So thank you for that.
