Sony Reveals October’s PlayStation Plus Freebies

During the most recent State of Play from Sony, the company announced what we can expect from October’s PlayStation Plus lineup.

As always, if you’re a PS+ subscriber you’ll be able to download and keep these games for free (as long as you remain a PS+ subscriber of course).

First on the list is MLB The Show 19. The game’s official description reads: “Join the major leagues in the latest iteration of Sony San Diego Studio’s supremely authentic baseball sim. Whether you’re building your name in a comprehensive RPG style career mode, competing with online players, taking control of MLB legends past and present, or just having a quick play on the park… this is your show.”

Next up is the one and only The Last of Us Remastered, the PS4 edition of the 2013 Naughty Dog title.

Really, if you haven’t played TLOU, what are you even doing with life?

Of course, the game follows Joel and Ellie in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by the Cordyceps Brain Infection. Expect masterful storytelling, flawless gameplay and yeah, you’ll cry. Along with updated graphics, the Remastered version of the game also includes the wonderful Left Behind DLC.

It’s actually the perfect game for Halloween if you haven’t already lined up some spook-tacular games to mark the occasion.
