Marvel’s Spider-Man is an amazing game for a million reasons, but its attention to detail when creating the city of New York and its millions of inhabitants is truly second to none. At least it was, until now.

A glitch for Spider-Man, first discovered back in 2018 when the game first released, is now going viral thanks to the strangely horrifying and disturbing way that it transforms the NPCs in the game.

Instead of appearing with their usual models, the game glitch is transforming every NPC into a jean denim nightmare, with all of the characters appearing to be cloaked in bodybags made of denim.

If you ever wished that Marvel’s Spider-Man was a little more like the Silent Hill games of yester-year, well, you’re in luck apparently…
In other Spider-Man news, Spidey’s movie actor Tom Holland has announced that there’s big plans in the works for the character, despite the recent issues with Disney, Sony and the future of the IP.

Speaking at Philadelphia’s Keystone Comic-Con [via ComicBook.com] Holland said: “There’s definitely more to come. We sat down with some of our creatives. We pitched Spider-Man 3, which is going to be something very special. It’s going to be something very different.”
Holland went on to say: “It’s really exciting, the ideas we have for how we can expand the Spider-Man world and bring new characters into it, and crossover with other people… and it’s only going to get bigger and better from here, which is great.”
It was recently reported that Spider-Man was out of the MCU following Disney’s purchase of Marvel, after they allegedly failed to reach an agreement with Sony over the use of the Spider-Man character.
It’s rumoured that the talks are still ongoing.
