Spider-Man: Miles Morales Will Reportedly Have Into the Spider-Verse Suit

If you didn’t have enough reasons to pick up Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales when it drops later this year, here’s one more for you.

According to a new leak, it seems as though Miles Morales might be getting a very familiar Spidey suit, courtesy of iconic animated movie, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse.

The news comes from some now-removed marketing material for the upcoming Miles Morales game, which was reportedly shared to the official PlayStation website. As spotted by GamesRadar, eagle-eyed Instagram user WallcrawlerFacts took to the social media platform to share the knowledge that the materials included a specific copyright notice which named Into The Spider-Verse.

Shouting out fellow Spidey fans @vigilantespider and @rada_radoni for the spot, WallcrawlerFacts said: “Copyright information about Miles Morales’ suit in ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ appearing in the upcoming game ‘Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ was posted to the game’s page on PlayStation.com, but it has since been removed.”

As the user pointed out, it’s not too surprising that a Spider-Verse suit could be showing up in the next Insomniac Games and Marvel game. Peter B. Parker’s suit made an appearance in the original title, Marvel’s Spider-Man, so it only makes sense to see another in the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

We weren’t able to find an image of the original post, so it’s best to take the news with a pinch of salt for now.

In related news, it’s a good thing the PS5 has a pretty hefty amount of SSD space, as the standalone Miles Morales game will take up an eye-watering 50GB, with the Ultimate Edition clocking in at no less than 105GB. The Ultimate Edition, in case you weren’t aware, includes both Morales and a remaster of Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Both versions will launch alongside the PS5 in select markets including North America and Japan on November 12, followed by Europe and additional regions on November 19.
