Stardew Valley 1.6 Update Features New Festival, Dialogue And Secrets

ConcernedApe has taken to Twitter to announce what fans can expect from the upcoming Stardew Valley 1.6 Update. Here’s what we know.

The developers first announced the upcoming 1.6 update back in April. It was here they revealed they would be halting development on their more recent game, Hotel Chocolatier in order to work more on Stardew Valley.

Since then we have received no more news, until now. It turns out we will be getting a lot more new content than we originally thought.

Stardew Valley 1.6 Update – What’s New?

Back in April, fans were told 1.6 would feature “changes for modders” as well as new game content. However, they were warned that the next update would not feature as many new features as 1.5 previously did.

However, in a Tweet posted on the official ConcernedApe Twitter, we do seem to be getting a lot of cool new features.

According to this, 1.6 will feature a new festival, new items, more dialogues, secrets and one more mysterious feature.

Although the post doesn’t go into any further detail, it is still exciting news for Stardew fans who last received a big update in December 2020.

The Best Farming Simulator?

Since it first launched back in 2016, Stardew Valley has become one of the most-loved farming simulators on the market.

Praised for its seemingly endless string of content, interesting characters (who you can also romance) as well as its in-depth co-op mode, it still has a loyal fanbase to this day.

Although we can expect ConcernedApe to turn their attention back to Hotel Chocolatier after 1.6 goes live, it is still reassuring to know they are not giving up on Stardew.

As for the upcoming update, we are yet to hear an official launch date so we will be sure to update you when we know!
