‘Stay Tuned For Grand Theft Auto 6 News,’ Says Rockstar Games

It seems as though Rockstar Games could be gearing up to finally share some news on its highly-anticipated next game, Grand Theft Auto 6.

As spotted by GamesRadar, the company’s official Twitter account for Rockstar Games Support has once again begun responding to fan questions about GTA 6 – something which it hasn’t done for a while.

Reddit notes that though it was once pretty common for the account to answer GTA 6 questions, it hadn’t been doing so for a while, and the response being given is VERY interesting.

Instead of turning fans away, Rockstar Support is now responding to tweets about GTA 6 by telling users to keep their eyes on Rockstar Newswire, its official news section on the Rockstar website, for further details.

Does this outright mean Rockstar is getting ready to make a GTA 6 announcement? Well…no, but it’s definitely curious to see the social media teams begin to once again answer GTA 6 questions and direct users to the news site.

With the next-gen consoles finally getting price points, release dates and game line-ups, it’s looking more likely than ever that an official Grand Theft Auto 6 update might be coming.

Despite being confirmed by countless industry insiders, the game’s existence has yet to be formally announced by anyone at Rockstar. While we know it’s happening, we don’t know that it’s happening, if you get me.

Last month, the parent company of Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, updated the domains for both “Vice City” and “GTA 6.”

The news was spotted by Reddit user Conla- who took to the r/GTA6 subreddit to share their discovery that two GTA-related domains have recently been updated by Take-Two.

In their original post, Conla- writes: “Take-Two Interactive own a domain named ‘gtavicecityonline.com’ which was updated [in] March alongside ‘gtavi.com’.”

You can check out the evidence for yourself right here.

It’s not all too clear what this means, as it could perhaps be part of a routine update Take-Two makes each year. However, it’s particularly noteworthy as we’ve already heard rumours that the next addition to the Grand Theft Auto franchise might be taking a trip back to Vice City. Could this be our first solid evidence?
