The next generation of Xbox consoles have been revealed in all their glory. Both the Xbox Series S and the Xbox Series X have had their release dates, prices and full specs revealed. If you’re unsure of which console will suit your needs, here’s the official specs breakdown.

Xbox Series X – $499 USD/£449 GBP
The more expensive and all-encompassing model, the Xbox Series X is the top dog of Microsoft’s next-gen experience. Definitely packing a punch, here’s what you’ll get for your money.

Xbox Series S – $299 USD/£249 GBP
The disc-less version of the next-gen Xbox comes in at $200 cheaper than its bigger brother, but there’s also some other differences between the two. Check out the Series S specs below.

- Backward Compatibility- Thousands of digital Xbox One, and backward-compatible Xbox 360 and original Xbox games available at launch. Xbox One gaming accessories are backward-compatible as well.

Both models are competitively priced considering that a current-gen Xbox retails for a similar price to the Series X (at least one with a couple of games and all the bells and whistles).
