Though it’s not exactly a long documentary. it definitely packs a punch, covering everything from Henry Cavill’s physical training for the role of Geralt, to how the visual effects were achieved.

The official description teases of “the monsters, the ballads, and every bit of magic that went into bringing The Witcher’s continent to life.”

In short, if you’re a fan of Netflix’s The Witcher, you probably need to get the popcorn out for this one!

Though the show’s second season was hit with pandemic-related delays, the wheels are once again in motion for the cast and crew.

In an interview with TV Guide, showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich chatted about the scope of the story, which has primarily been adapted straight from the book series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.

Hissrich told the publication that future seasons of the show would strive to reference iconic Witcher video game moments “as often as possible.”

“We want to pay homage to it, to them as often as possible,” she said. “And also I’ve been to CD Projekt Red. I’ve met all of all of those really talented people there. And what they do is amazing. So, if we can offer them a wink and a nod whenever we can, we will.”

Hopefully that means we’ll get to see the sex-on-a-unicorn scene made famous in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
