Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead is possibly the most successful video game series based on the comics/TV show of the same name, and sadly it’s coming to an end.
The choose-your-own-adventure style game will be ending after its fourth season, which is set to begin on 14th August 2018.
Consisting of four episodes and available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, the game’s final season will continue following Clementine, who’s transformed from innocent child to a seasoned zombie killer.
It’s expected that a Nintendo Switch version of the game will be available later this year, and it’s likely we can expect a mobile port too, thanks to Telltale’s passion for mobile-friendly gaming.
Speaking of the new and final season, Telltale explains: “Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice.”
As is the norm for Telltale Games, they’ve just released a 15 minute demo of Clem’s new upcoming adventures, giving you a chance to try-before-you-buy and see just what sort of apocalyptic madness Clem has gotten herself into now.
You can download it right now on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation.
