The Epic Games Store is a controversial place. Touted as the biggest competitor to Steam, the Epic Store notoriously managed to nab Metro: Exodus as a PC exclusive, which sent Valve fans into despair and anger.
Although the Store definitely has some fans thanks to its monthly freebies, Steam users are still devoted to Valve – but for how much longer?

It seems the Epic Games Store has managed to grab itself another very impressive set of games which were PlayStation exclusives.
Quantic Dream’s very successful and much-loved Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human will be making their way to the store in their first PC debut.
We’re pleased to share that @Quantic_Dream is bringing three iconic titles to PC for the first time ever: Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls!

Along with thatgamecompany’s Journey, another PS exclusive, Epic will reportedly get itself The Outer Worlds, Control and more, although there’s no set date in place as of yet.

The developers of The Outer Worlds, Obsidian Entertainment, confirmed it’ll still be releasing on consoles (thankfully).
Our partners at @EpicGames have announced that #TheOuterWorlds will be coming to the Epic Games Store at launch, alongside the Windows Store. It will be released on other digital platforms 12 months later.
The Outer Worlds will still release on XBOX and PS4 on launch.

The news comes courtesy of Epic’s conference at GCD. Check out all the information about the announcements on the Epic blog here.

The Epic Store is quickly losing favour with gamers though, with lots of people flat-out refusing to use the platform, either in allegiance to Steam, or because of the security issues that the Store is believed to have.

Dunno if this counts, but it’s a pretty detailed look at what the storefront’s security system looks at every time you start it up (with pics and all): https://t.co/s5I8y4SzgZ
