The Epic Games Store is giving away a trio of free games this week in addition to its usual freebies, making for a total of five games for you to download and keep for nothing!

Players will be able to claim Daedelic’s point-and-click Deponia collection, alongside Ken Follett’s The Pillars of Earth and the exploration game The First Tree.

While these games will be available until the 22nd of April, Epic Games Store users will also be able to claim Alien: Isolation and Hand of Fate 2 between the 22nd and 29th of April.

While the Epic Games Store is renowned for offering free games every week, this month’s offerings appear to be particularly generous.

If you’re a fan of point-and-click adventures, then Deponia: The Complete Journey should be right up your alley. Technically, the collection is three games in one, which means you’re really getting seven games for free during the month of April.

Deponia features the comedic capers of Rufus and his attempts to escape his homeworld. In contrast to Daedelic’s adventure, Ken Follet’s The Pillars of Earth is a compelling tale based on poverty and war within 12th Century England, based on the best-selling novel of the same name.

If you’re looking for something more aesthetically pleasing, then The First Tree should do the trick. The game features 3rd-person explorative gameplay and gorgeous visuals while placing players in the paws of a Fox searching for her missing family.

If you’re looking for a tranquil experience, then you should definitely grab The First Tree for free, especially since it features no enemies and a short but sweet 90-minute play-length.

While you can currently grab three of the games mentioned above right now, you’ll need to wait till the 22nd of April to grab Alien: Isolation and Hand of Fate 2. The Epic Games Store gives users a free game every week, so logging in regularly is definitely worthwhile.
