Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of Rockstar’s most highly-anticipated games and it’s set to be one of the biggest launches of 2018 (and possibly even one of the biggest game launches ever!)
A gameplay trailer for the upcoming title just released and it’s exceeding expectations, looking absolutely phenomenal and getting fans very excited.
Boasting intelligent AIs, gorgeous textures and a pretty-much never-ending landscape, this looks like a game that’s going to be redefining open-world gaming for the future.
Walking us through some of the game’s features, the Red Dead 2 trailer showcases different text options for you to select to diffuse potential fights, make friends and enter into combat, meaning you can tailor to the experience to your favourite type of gameplay.
The world is absolutely huge, filled to the brim with super-smart NPCs who react specifically to your character and actions.
Even the wildlife is intelligent, with a set system of prey, predators and scavengers to create a richly diverse world. Treat your horse well and form a bond and select the perfect horse for the job you need, whether that’s hard labour or travelling long distance, each breed will have different strengths.
Visually, the game couldn’t look any better. Whether It’s the dust being brushed from your horse, your footprints in the snow, or the texture of hair and fur, this has to be one of the most breathtakingly gorgeous games we’ve ever seen. Ever.
Combat looks greatly improved too, with new shooting mechanics set to be properly explored in the next gameplay reveal trailer.
