The Outer Worlds is one of the most exciting-looking games we’ve seen in a while. Its reveal last year left lots of people eager to see more, but Steam fans might now be feeling the disappointment.
It’s being reported that The Outer Worlds will be exclusive to the controversial Epic Games Store, in a move that’s p*ssed off a lot of people.
At least now I don’t have to buy your game.

The story gets even worse though, as it turns out even the developers of The Outer Worlds, Obsidian Entertainment, didn’t even know the game was going to be forgoing Steam in favour of Epic.
In fact, it appears that the people at Obsidian were still working hard on the Steam version of the game. Obsidian was adding in Steam achievements just four hours before the Epic exclusivity was announced [via AltChar]. Yikes.
Wonder what’s gonna happen when Epic runs out of Fortnite money and can’t afford to buy timed exclusives anymore. They sure aren’t adding features to make their storefront enticing.

The Epic Games Store is still going hard to nab itself some good exclusives. The likes of Afterparty, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, The Sinking City, Control and Industries of Titan will all be exclusive to the Epic Store, along with some unannounced Ubisoft projects.
A bunch of classic PlayStation exclusives will also be coming to PC via Epic. Quantic Dream’s very successful and much-loved Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human will be making their way to the store in their first PC debut.
We’re pleased to share that @Quantic_Dream is bringing three iconic titles to PC for the first time ever: Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls!
