Steam Lunar New Year Sale is officially here and it’s – thankfully – just after pay day. Hooray!
This year the sale is better than ever, with Valve offering an extra discount on ‘qualifying’ purchases. Spend £30 and you’ll get a £5 discount on top of whatever sale you’re taking advantage of (find out all the terms and conditions on the Steam store right here).

There’s thousands of games that have had their prices slashes, including the likes of Far Cry 5, Life Is Strange 2 and Dark Souls 3.
For the first time, any games that you decide to purchase will earn you tokens, which can be used to get yourself more discounts codes, as well as things like profile backgrounds and badges.
Signing into the Steam store will also gift you a virtual envelope in celebration of Chinese New Year. Inside you’ll find 4,000 tokens to help you start your collection.
The sale will be running from 5th February up until the 11th February, so you’ll have some time to ponder over your purchases before parting with your hard-earned money.
