The True Stars Of Halo Infinite Are Voice Actors/Pugs, Gyoza & Buddy

Halo Infinite may have been delayed out of 2020. but that’s sad for more reasons than you might think – because of two loveable pugs.

The next game from 343 Industries is set to star the one and only Gyoza the pug, on a journey sure to lead her to straight to Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Sadly, Gyoza might have to wait a little longer for her career to take off, as the game has been delayed until 2021.

Gyoza seems like a patient girl though, as evidenced by her time in the studio. In a video shared to Halo’s official Instagram back in 2019, Gyoza was revealed to be the one behind a number of alien sound effects in the upcoming game, and she does a bang-up job if you ask me!

Check out Gyoza in action via the video below!

(Oh, and when we first reported on this story, a staff member at 343 reached out to confirm Gyoza is a girl).

Gyoza isn’t the goodest one over at 343 Industries though, as there’s actually another dog who’s aiming for that Oscar.

Buddy the pug has also been credited for some of Halo Infinite’s sound effects, as shown in a video from earlier this summer.

The team at Halo explained: “Buddy, the best friend of a Program Manager here at 343, adventured to the recording booth for our final #SoundDesignSaturday post. His time spent with the 343 Audio Team was filled with snacks, drinks, and plenty of pets.⁣

“We hope you’ve enjoyed a look behind-the-scenes with our Audio Team over the past year. We can’t wait for you to see, and hear, more about Halo Infinite in the coming months.”

Check out Buddy’s busy day below!

No matter how long Halo Infinite may take, as least we have these wonderful pugs to look forward to!
