Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be one of the best games of its generation if the gameplay we’ve seen so far is anything to go by, and it might be time to get even more excited about CD Projekt Red’s upcoming game.

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, game director of CD Projekt Red’s immensely successful The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has reportedly signed up to work on Cyberpunk, which spells nothing but good news.
Tomaszkiewicz’s Linkedin page [via Twinfinite] now shows his current role in the company as: “CD PROJEKT RED’s Vice President of Game Development / Design Director – Cyberpunk 2077.”

One of the many, many reasons we can’t wait for Cyberpunk 2077 is down to the development team, which has been revealed to be nearly twice the size of the team who worked on The Witcher 3.
According to online publication Stockwatch.pl, there’s over 400 people working on Cyberpunk 2077, which is almost double the size of the 250-strong team who completed work on The Witcher 3. Safe to say we can definitely expect something truly special here!
Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t have a release date as of yet, which means it could be launching on both next-gen and current-gen consoles as we come towards the end of this gaming generation.

What we do know is that Cyberpunk will be making an appearance at this year’s E3, which will take place in June 2019. Are you excited for Cyberpunk 2077?
5. So far, CD Projekt Red, developers of the Witcher series. They value feedback and you can really see it when you notice the drastic improvements of the first Witcher up to Witcher 3. With their successes, I believe they can do so much more. Can’t wait for Cyberpunk 2077! pic.twitter.com/Pxb6eViWol
