The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is quite possibly one of the most modded games of all time, but even those who think they’ve seen it all might be surprised by the latest version of fan-made mode, Requiem – The Roleplaying Overhaul.
The mod, which comes from expert modders the Requiem Dungeon Masters, has been created with the sole focus of making the game more RPG-friendly, and with the mod’s latest update, the team has overhauled almost the entirety of Skyrim.
The mod, which you can check out over on NexusMods right here, has seen a pretty extensive update as of October 5 2019, and the new additions are seriously impressive.
The mod’s description states: “Requiem started as a personal project to turn Skyrim into a more realistic, internally consistent roleplaying experience… and it has grown greatly ever since.
“Built and developed by a small team of dedicated modders, writers and testers – the Requiem Dungeon Masters – Requiem is the result of several thousand hours of continual development and refinement.”
Combat, stats, magic and rebalances have been modded from the base game, but changes to the aesthetics of the game and a new interface make this mod a truly unmissable add-on for Skyrim players.

In other Skyrim news, a hardcore Minecraft fan by the name of LaffenGas has started work on bringing the two worlds together.
LaffenGas has lovingly and painstakingly recreated the introduction to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim within Minecraft, and it’s seriously impressive work.
