As the gaming world starts to get hyped for E3 2019, more and more details about what we can expect have begun to emerge.
One of the most interesting snippets we’ve heard so far comes from none other than THQ Nordic, who promises the reveal of not one, but two previously unannounced games. Even more excitingly, THQ has confirmed these aren’t just any games, but games from “beloved franchises.”
Okay THQ, you’ve DEFINITELY caught our attention…
The news, which comes via GamingBolt, has been confirmed through information given from THQ regarding its plans for E3 2019, and we already know that one of the new games is a remake and one is a reboot.
THQ has said: “THQ Nordic is booking for an unannounced title that you will absolutely want to get in to see. I can’t reveal what the title of this remake is, but it’s the long-awaited return of a galactically beloved game/franchise.”
The second game is described as a “new vision of a beloved game/franchise,” suggesting a reboot or reimagining.

The choice of words here is VERY telling. TimeSplitters? Titan Quest? Alan Wake?! With so many developers under its belt, we really could be on the cusp of something really exciting here.
We’ll have to wait until E3 2019 to see just what THQ Nordic has up its sleeves for us, but thankfully, the wait is nearly over.
E3 kicks off, Tuesday 11 June and runs until Friday 14. Other exciting things we’re expecting is the reveal of a release date for CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, a dominating display from Xbox thanks to Sony dropping out, and a release date for Dying Light 2.
Will you be tuning into E3 this year? What are you hoping for THQ Nordic’s plans for its “beloved” franchise?
