Upcoming Horror Game ‘Under’ Is Like P.T On A Sinking Ship

EDIT: ‘Under’ now has a Steam release date of October 26 2020. Original article as follows:

When it comes to horror games, P.T is undeniably one of the best and most terrifying experiences it’s possible to have. Though the playable teaser for the now-cancelled Silent Hills is a thing of the past, its influence lives on within the horror genre, and its definitely present in upcoming PC horror, Under.

Under is due to release on Steam later this year, and it looks like the psychological horror we’ve been dreaming of since P.T was pulled from the PlayStation Store. Under will see you faced with your own deep-seated fears as you battle to escape a rapidly sinking ship. From the trailer, Under does an excellent job of creating tense and terrifying experiences as you try to muster the courage to escape the ship. Think Silent Hill meets Titanic and you’re in the right ball park.

Under’s official description reads as follows: “Find yourself in the shoes of traumatized WWI veteran Alexander Dockter who ends up in an eerie turn-of-the-century era ocean liner on its way to the bottom of the ocean. As if trying to escape a colossal sinking ocean liner in the middle of the night isn’t frightening enough, you find out that your escape is sabotaged by malicious entities that seem to want something from you. Test your fears and find out whether you can escape while all elements turn against you in this classic horror experience.”
