The second wave of games heading to the Xbox Game Pass in the final weeks of September have been announced. Here’s what you can expect.
This wave of games kicks off today September 20 and includes an FPS shooter, a turn-based strategy game and a multiplayer party game.
They will be free to download for subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Xbox Game Pass Games Arriving Soon
First up and arriving today is Party Animals, a multiplayer physics-based brawler/party game developed by Recreate Games. You and your friends can take on the forms of adorable puppies, kittens and other animals to fight it out both online and offline.

Payday 3 arrives on September 21. The FPS shooter is the third instalment in the Payday series which itself is “one of the most popular co-op shooters ever.”

For those looking for a puzzle, they can dive into Cocoon on September 29. This puzzle adventure game allows you to carry each world in an orb that you wear on your back. With the ability to leap between worlds, you can manipulate them to your will to solve intricate puzzles.

Gotham Knights is available from October 3. The open-world action RPG is set in the infamous city of Gotham where Batman has died. Now it is down to his family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin to deliver justice.

Last but certainly not least is The Lamplighters League, a turn-based strategy game that arrives on October 3. Recruit a team of misfits with unique abilities to chase the Banished Court. With a mix of real-time infiltration and turn-based combat, you will find a character-driven story set amongst an alternative 1930s.
