Xbox Wants Elon Musk To Make Halo’s Warthog A Reality

If I told you that Xbox wants a billionaire to make Halo’s Warthog into an actual, real-life vehicle, which one would you say it is? Bingo! It’s the world’s current richest man, Elon Musk, the man whose ideas consistently verge into Bond villain territory (via TheGamer).

Seriously… Halo’s Warthog?

Yep, that’s right! For those unaware, Halo’s Warthog is an armoured vehicle that looks almost like a monster truck with guns. This is to be expected in the Halo universe, which features an expansive world of intergalactic combat. Yet, Xbox marketing boss, Aaron Greenberg, seems to think that having a Tesla built Warthog in today’s world would be a fantastic idea.

The whole conversation began after Musk was asked about his gaming preferences. This was off the back of the billionaire complaining about Cyberpunk 2077’s recent game-breaking patch. His response was “Only Halo”, which provided Greenberg with a golden marketing ticket.

Reaching out to the billionaire through a retweet, Greenberg remarked that  it “Sure feels like a Tesla x Halo collab needs to happen at some point!?”, which was then swiftly followed up by a fan call to action:

“To be clear this would be a dream collab for me and many fans I know. So if you like the idea, speak up and maybe something in the future could happen, who knows!?”

Much to Greenberg’s dismay, Musk didn’t respond. However, it’s safe to say that Musk would probably at least consider the proposal. After all, we’re talking about the same man who’s launched a car into space, wired up monkey’s as game controllers and developed a consumer-grade flamethrower. You don’t see Jeff Bezos pulling stunts like that.

However, there’s a chance that Musk could still respond to this off-the-wall request. So who knows what the future holds! But until then, there’s always the likes of Simone Giertz, an inventive Youtuber who transformed their Tesla into a pickup truck. Stick a turret on the back of this thing and who knows, perhaps we’ll have a Warthog sooner than expected.
