You Can Now Run Across Planets In Mechs On No Man’s Sky

Hello Games will be the first people to admit they had a rather shaky start to life with No Man’s Sky but since the dark times they have managed to find the light with a series of very positive updates. This new edition is a perfect example of that, they have now added Titanfall like mechs to the planets.

No Man’s Sky has now become every player’s fantasy when it comes to populating a remote alien civilization. The free update, update 2.4 to be exact, introduced the Exo Mech – an armored suit that gives the player the ability to pilot a massive metal plated armor tower around the map.

The new mechs can jump and are immune to all of the hazards that are presented on each planet. The structure of the units are adaptable for those who have chosen to experience No Man’s Sky in VR and the mechs can be deployed to a planet’s surface from the player’s freighter orbiting the planet.

The Exo Mech update includes a speight of improvements to the existing exocrafts that are already present in the game. The ships now include more effective scanners and solar panels that allow them to stay charged for longer durations, perfect for the deep space explorations. There have also been very noticeable graphics upgrades that really give more depth and distance to the environmental rendering. Base building has also been revamped as well with the user now having the option of hiding the wiring throughout your base.

The plans for the mechs can be obtained from the construction research center aboard the Space Anomaly and the mechs contain their own set of upgrades as well as a set of customizable decals. These are all a very welcome addition to No Man’s Sky which has grown from a flop to an excellently constructed game.
