CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 may have been been delayed (again), but that doesn’t mean we’re not as hyped as ever for its launch. The upcoming dystopian RPG is one of the most highly-anticipated games of all time, and it’s set to be a complete game-changer when it launches in November.

Speaking of the gameplay and the many features the world of Night City has to offer, Cyberpunk level designer Max Pears recently opened up about the ways you can play the game. Pears admitted to PC Games N that you can play Cyberpunk as though it’s GTA 5 – but that you shouldn’t.
“If you want to go out on a rampage and have no remorse, then you have got the option, and that’s fine with us,” Pears told the publication.

“However, once you start to play the missions and see the amount of options you have. I think that will make players stop and think a little bit before doing something reckless. We’ve seen a lot of people default to that ‘GTA mode’ and then after a little bit they realize how many things are different and adjust how they play.”
CD Projekt Red is known for giving the players lots of freedom when it comes to tackling their RPGs, so it’ll be exciting to see just how many different routes can be taken when it comes to the gameplay.

Speaking of which, Cyberpunk recently got a new trailer and some gameplay thanks to the recently Night City online event. The livestream introduced a lot for fans to get excited over, including the reveal of a Netflix anime, coming in 2022.
