If you’ve always dreamed of being a Pokémon master like no-one ever was then you’re going to want to keep your eyes on the Adidas website for its next sneaker drop.
Last year we saw the release of the controversial Dragon Ball Z sneakers from the company, which split opinions thanks to their bold design (hey, I liked them). Now it seems the company is setting its sights on everyone’s favourite Pokémon, Pikachu.
As you can see in the images, Adidas has opted for a much more sleek design than its DBZ collection. These sneakers are almost entirely white, save for a pixelated Pikachu at the back of the shoe. I like to call them Pikashoes.
Personally, I’m a bit fan of the interior of the shoe, which boasts a whole heap of pixelated Pokémon that I’d actually prefer to see on the outside of the sneaker.
We don’t yet have a release date or price for the upcoming Pikashoes, but they’ve definitely caught my attention. The general response to the new kicks is that they’re actually pretty sleek, which puts them ahead of the DBZ trainers from 2018.

I can’t help but feel these trainers would make the perfect addition to your Pikachu-themed wedding. Yes, earlier this year it was announced that the Pokemon Company is now in the wedding business, offering out fully-themed and fully-licensed Japanese wedding events to mark the most special day of your lives.
Not only will you get two giant bride and groom Pokemon standing there with you at the top of the aisle, but you’ll also get Pikachu-themed foods, including whatever this is below decorated with the iconic Pikachu tail.
