Are you tired of working for the mob? Do you want to work in the great outdoors? Then Adios might be the perfect game for you.

The developer and publish of Adios, Mischief, has announced that the game is coming on 17th March 2021, along with a sales stretch goal.
Mischief states that if Adios surpasses five thousand sales within a month, the team will add a big head mode to the game. Big head modes in games are historically hilarious and are always a welcome addition.
Adios is an unconventional crime tale about a pig farmer who’s had enough of working for the Mafia. Anyone who’s ever watched a mob-boss film knows that no one simply leaves their crime career for pastures new. In fact, Adios is all about saying goodbye to your shady past and the consequences that come with doing so.

Here’s the game’s Steam page synopsis:
“Adios is a cinematic first-person game about sticking to a complicated decision. You’re a pig farmer in Kansas. It’s October. Cold, crisp mornings are the norm, and you have decided that you’re no longer okay with letting the mob use your pigs to dispose of bodies. When your old friend – a hitman – arrives with his assistant to deliver another body, you finally screw up the courage to tell them that you’re done.
“Your friend doesn’t want you to stop. He knows that there’s no such thing as quitting, so he’ll try to convince you that you’re making a mistake. You spend the day together, doing chores and exploring the nooks and crannies of an authentic environment in the American Midwest alongside the man who will be forced to kill you, if he can’t convince you to stay.

“How you respond will determine the rest of your life. Adios means goodbye.”
This slow-burning drama resembles the film In Bruges, a heartfelt tale about two friends and a deadly occupational obligation. Both Adios and In Bruges have an air of tranquillity about them, seemingly paving the characters way to a tragic end. The outcome of the story is presented as being binary. Yet, as players and viewers, we hold onto the hope that there’s some sort of alternative solution.
Adios is set to release on the 17th March 2021 and can currently be added to your wishlist on Steam.
