The developers of indie and streaming sensation Among Us are aiming to bring the biggest map yet to the cult-like favourite.
First releasing in June 2018, Among Us was practically breezing through the indie gaming community relatively unnoticed. However when popular streamers started to stream Among Us, the indie title blew-up in popularity.

Quite recently, the developers at InnerSloth planned on releasing a direct sequel to Among Us, but due to the sudden surge in popularity of the original game and the insane increase of player numbers, they instead decided to put those plans on hold and support the current version.
The premise of Among Us is quite a simple, but effective. Players each take-up the role of two Crewmates, most of which are genuine crewmates, but at certain intervals players are also required to play the role of an Imposter.
The Crewmates must then seek out the Imposter and kill them while the Imposter must sabotage the Crewmate’s base and eliminate them one-by-one. However at this time Among Us only contains three maps and with so many players enjoying this game, three maps are quickly wearing thin.
Thankfully the developers at Innersloth plan to release a new map very soon as revealed in a tweet from Puffballs United, the co-founder of Innersloth.
Exact details were not given other than stating that “Map 4 is looking to be bigger than Polus”, which is the third map to be released for Among Us which would make the fourth map to be the biggest yet.

We don’t have any other details as to when the fourth map might release, but we suspect that it might be very soon via a free update.
Among Us is currently available for PC, Android and iOS with fans hoping that the hit indie game might soon make its way to consoles. You can check out our tips guide here!
