Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Speedrunner Beats Game Taking No Damage

An Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag speedrunner has beaten the game without taking a single hit of damage. No, that’s an assassin with skills.

The speedrunner is YouTuber Hayete Bahadori, and he is the first player in the world to beat Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag with full synchronisation by completing all mission objectives and no damage. Bahadori’s playthrough was completed on PC and took over nine hours to complete.

Furthermore, Bahadori didn’t even restart a single mission in the game. It’s worth noting that Bahadori did not have to partake in collectables, mini-games, or any other side activities for his playthrough.

As reported by Game Rant, there are instances in Black Flag where taking damage is unavoidable, so this did not go against Bahadori’s no damage speedrun. Such instances happen during Sequence 1 and Sequence 10.

No damage, no problem

An exception is also made during naval combat. “Damage taken during ship encounters to the ship itself does not count since this would be impossible to avoid in almost every instance,” said Bahadori.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was released in 2013. Furthermore and is one of my favourite games in the series. It’s also one of the last old-school Assassin’s Creed games.

In Black Flag, you play as Edward Kenway, a pirate who sails the seas looting and fightingTemplars. It’s a story of a reluctant hero, one for which you cannot help but fall for Edward Kenway’s charm and charisma.
