Following in the footsteps of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, AC Origins will be getting a 60FPS boost in the near future.
Back in August 2021, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey received a surprise 60FPS boost for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Now Ubisoft has teased that Assassin’s Creed Origins will be getting the same treatment.
December 21st is Assassin’s Creed Day and without giving away any spoilers, one of the reasons that this date has been chosen, is due to a pivotal moment in Assassin’s Creed 3. However, it’s also a day to celebrate everything related to the Brotherhood of Assassins.
In response to a tweet thanking fans for their support over the years from Ubisoft, it was the follow-up tweet that gained the most attention. Confirming that a 60FPS boost is coming to AC Origins.
“We are also looking into adding 60FPS support for Assassin’s Creed Origins, so stay tuned!”.
At this time, we don’t know when Assassin’s Creed Origins will get the 60FPS boost, but it wouldn’t surprise me if we’re not waiting too long.
Assassin’s Creed Origins was released in 2017 and is one of my favourite games in the series. So, it’s nice to see that the game is still receiving support four years after it was originally released.
