Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla Player Shares Tip To Make Stacking Stones Easier

As much as we all love Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, the game does have its frustrations, one being the cairn or “stacking stone” puzzles you’ll come across throughout the world. Stacking these stones can get tiresome very fast, but thankfully there’s a workaround – if you’re happy to put some work in!

As shared by Reddit user LN404 (and spotted by Kotaku AU), it’s actually possible to use an oil jar as a “hack” to create a cairn out of stones without the fuss. All you’ll need to do is carry the oil jar to the puzzle site, lay down your oil jar and stack the stones on top.

You’ll still have to stack a couple of stones for the shortcut to work, but it’s a heck of lot easier with an oil jar in place of more rocks! Check it out in the video below (and don’t forget to show the user who posted this some love on the original Reddit post!).

So about that work I mentioned…Sadly, not all of the Valhalla cairn sites are located near to an oil jar, so if you want to make this cheat work across the map, you might need to prepare for some heavy lifting!

In related news, evidence of a third piece of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC has been discovered within the game’s code, and it seems to reveal where Eivor is headed next after Ireland.

Have you been enjoying Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and will you be trying out this stacking stone puzzle hack?
