Babylon’s Fall Player Count Dropped To 1 Over The Weekend

Square Enix’s Babylon’s Fall continues to have an epic fall from grace and now it’s hit an all-time low of one concurrent player on Steam.

Babylon’s Fall was only released for PC, PS4, and PS5 on March 3rd this year. Yet, the game already seems to be on the verge of living out its final days. If there ever was a game fitting for that John Travolta gif, it’s got to be Babylon’s Fall.

Only last month the concurrent player number fell to just 10. Unfortunately, for Square Enix, it’s now got even worse for the action RPG.

As reported by Eurogamer, on May 4th, according to the stat tracker website, SteamDB, the player count for Babylon’s Fall had fallen to a pitiful one concurrent player. Clearly, the force is not strong in this game. But, it can’t get any worse for Babylon’s Fall, can it?

How low can it go?

While there’s no way to track PlayStation stats at the same accuracy as SteamDB, I can’t imagine the concurrent player numbers being all that great for PS4 or PS5 either. Just going by my small friend’s list, I haven’t seen one player on Sony’s console participating in Babylon Fall’s demise.

Looking at the statistics via SteamDB since the release of Babylon’s Fall, the numbers make for woeful reading. For example, its all-time peak currently sits at 1,166. Furthermore, during its release month, it only averaged 267 players.

However, the month of April only generated an average of 85 players, while the number has now fallen to an average of 60 over the last 30 days. Yikes!

Despite plummeting during its opening month, Square Enix stood firm and stated that it will not scale back on Babylon Fall’s development and assured its fan(s) that its season two of content is “practically complete”.
