Larian Studios has announced patch 3 for Baldur’s Gate 3 will arrive next week and will include full support for Mac. Here’s what we know so far.
Since its launch over a month ago, Larian has already released two patches aimed at improving the players Baldur’s Gate 3 experience.
Now their attention has turned to patch 3 which will finally offer full support for Mac users.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 3 – What To Expect
This news comes courtesy of a Tweet posted by the official BG3 Twitter account.
Alongside an image showcasing the game’s incredible critic scores, Larian also took time to thank their fans.
“Thank you from the fiery infernal engine we keep in place of our heart. We couldn’t have asked for a better response to Baldur’s Gate 3,” it read.
It then went on to announce the upcoming arrival of patch 3 which arrives alongside Mac support.
“Patch 3 is coming September 21 with full support for BG3 on Mac.”
Despite this announcement, we still don’t know what else to expect from the game’s third patch. We can assume it will include the standard fixes to performance issues as well as fixing any bugs still remaining.
The first major patch saw Larian tackle over 1,000 issues and the second patch quickly followed suit. This was alongside fixing playable character’s relationship with drow Minthara as well as the addition of Withers’ Wardrobe of Wayward Friends.
This feature allows you to ‘store’ your online friends in the wardrobe so you can continue the campaign without them.
What’s Next For BG3
As well as expecting regular patches, players can also look forward to the game’s level cap getting increased in the future.
With the Dungeon & Dragons inspired RPG set to be many players Game of the Year, it remains to be seen what else we can expect.
