Call of Duty: Warzone has been out for a while now, but players are only just discovering some of the secrets that the game has to offer. One of the easiest things to miss in the game is its many, many birds, but there’s seemingly a reason to look out for any feathered friends in Verdansk.

As spotted by Reddit user Noahthegoofy , it appears as though Warzone’s birds can give away your location to others in the match.
In the below clip from the Redditor, you can see a flock of birds react to some movement. The player uses a heartbeat sensor, which detects nothing, but still stays on the alert due to the birds’ actions. In the area the birds flew from, a player suddenly appears, and Noah gets the kill.
Check it out below.

There’s some debate in the comments section of Reddit as to whether the birds reacted to the enemy player or if it was just a coincidence, but it definitely looks compelling. It’s one to bear in mind next time you’re lurking in Verdansk!
In related news, the fourth Season of both Warzone and Modern Warfare is about to go down, and we finally have a release date to countdown to. Hooray!
Announcing the date for Season Four, the official PlayStation Twitter account shared a story trailer for the games, adding the caption” ‘Price, something’s wrong in Verdansk…’ Modern Warfare Season 4 hits PS4 June 3.”
From the looks of various snippets of the trailer and screenshots, we can probably expect the new Season to bring in the Vector and Galil weapons.
In terms of new characters, Operators shown so far include the one and only Captain Price, with Kyle “Gaz” Garrick also teased to make an appearance in the new season.

Thankfully there’s just one week until we can get stuck into Season Four…let’s just hope it’s not another XXXL download size!
Mark your calendars.
