Could our favourite coffee vendor finally be coming to our islands?

Brewster May Finally Be Coming To Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The fan favourite barista, Brewster, may be coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons this September, according to a new leak.

Twitter user @SamusHunter2 has hinted that a huge new update will introduce Brewster and his coffee shop, the Roost, to our islands sometime soon. Brewster is a fastidious pigeon who has been a part of several Animal Crossing games in the past. He sells coffee from either the lower floor of the museum or his own shop called the Roost. Fans have been hoping he’d be added to New Horizons for some time.

Are Brewster rumours true?

Samus has previously made predictions on Nintendo games which have proved correct. The September release also included another breadcrumb of evidence. According to Samus, the Halloween updates will be included in the next update in case of any delays:

“[Nintendo] has taken precautions to install the Halloween event without requiring a new update in case of delay after September.”

GamesRadar has reported about keen Animal Crossing sleuths uncovered new Halloween items in the 1.11 update. This is the same update that Samus is promising will bring us Brewster and a caffeine fix to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The lack of significant updates has left players of Animal Crossing have been disappointed. Earlier this year Nintendo promised more content was coming to the pandemic smash hit.

So can we believe the rumours? We’ll have to wait and see if Brewster pops up in Animal Crossing: New Horizons after the next update to be sure.
