Nintendo has promised fans that more Animal Crossing: New Horizons content is currently in development, and it arrives later this year.

The message to fans came via a tweet from Nintendo, announcing that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be getting a free update tomorrow. The free update which goes live on Thursday, July 29th will add “Firework Shows and new seasonal items.

However, that tweet was followed up with a reply informing fans that further free content is in development and is set to release later this year.

More content is coming!

Tomorrow’s update will be the first update to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in three months, the last being April 27th

Prior to that update, the game had been updated 17 times since its launch. So, it stands to reason why fans started to get a little concerned with the reduction of content support.

That said, at least we now know content is coming throughout the year. Are you looking forward to more Animal Crossing: New Horizon goodness? Let us know across our social media channels.
