We’ve been lucky enough to have the pleasure of playing a new Life Is Strange game this week. With its combination of well-rounded diverse characters and small-town mystery dramas, the Life Is Strange series is often considered to be among the strongest games in the adventure genre. Likewise, Life Is Strange: True Colors only exemplifies that.
But we all know there’s an issue these days of games being too short or too long, and you won’t know just what you’re getting into when you start it up for the first time. If you’re like me and enjoy seeing a story through to the end, it may be helpful to know just how many hours you’ll be putting into a game before you begin.
Without spoiling anything major, here’s just how long Life Is Strange: True Colors really is.
HOW LONG IS LIFE IS STRANGE: TRUE COLORS?
Life Is Strange: True Colors will take you approximately 15 hours to finish. It’s divided into five chapters, with each one being around three hours long.
It’s worth noting that this is the first time in the series that Life Is Strange has also ditched the episodic release model, meaning the entire story is available to you from launch day. So you won’t have to be stuck waiting for months for a cliffhanger to be resolved. If you ask me, that’s a wise decision considering it took about a year and a half for every Life Is Strange 2 episode to be released.
Meanwhile, if you’re still on the fence about buying Life Is Strange: True Colors, check out Sara’s review. She calls it “a glimmering, supernatural journey that reminds you life really is… weird.” You can grab yourself a copy from the GameByte shop too!
