These official The Simpson’s Flaming Moe’s sneakers will change your life! Okay, perhaps that was a little overdramatic but to use ’90s slang, they are at least pretty “rad”.
The first official photos have been released for the Adidas ZX 1000 sneakers, releasing in celebration of the beloved The Simpsons character and episode.
Real-name Moammar Morris “Moe” Szyslak, Moe is a bartender and owner of Moe’s Tavern, which is frequented by friends Homer Simpson, Barney Gumble and Carl Carlson.
Moe is known to be somewhat of miserable so-and-so, but these charismatic trainers are anything but “moeserable”. Sorry, I’ll leave now.
The Flaming Moe’s sneakers take their name and inspiration from an episode of The Simpsons with the same name, Season 3, Episode 10 (1991).
In the Flaming Moe’s episode, Homer creates his very own cocktail, naming it the “Flaming Homer,” before having the recipe hijacked by Moe.
The Flaming Moe’s ZX 1000’s are part of Adidas’ The Simpsons collection. The colour scheme is a stylish red with shades of purple, yellow, orange and white, all with a cel-shade design. They also have eye-catching flames on the side and the name “Flaming Moe’s” on the tongue.
There is currently no release date for the Flaming Moe’s Adidas ZX 1000 sneakers but orders are expected to go live soon via adidas.com.
