Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Adds Gory New Gameplay Feature

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 is now live and eager players have been picking apart the new updates to discover everything that’s come to the game.

Along with the new Battle Pass, new maps, gameplay modes and weapons comes a brand-new dismemberment system, and it’s definitely gotten players talking.

Players have clocked that the game now has full dismemberment, with lots of people sharing their head-exploding decapitation death animations across social media.

Check out one gore-filled example in the tweet below.

Thanks to the blood and gore, the game is feeling a lot less like a traditional CoD game, but we were promised Modern Warfare was going to be the darkest and grittiest addition to the franchise…

In other Call of Duty news, it seems the Battle Royale mode is well and truly on the way, despite Activision not yet confirmed its existence.

Over on Reddit, a user has shared an image of what they claim is a glitch in a friend’s game. The image shows Ghost and some of his pals, with the word “Warzone,” potentially confirming the leaked name we saw yesterday (Feb 12).

Although a Battle Royale announcement has yet to happen, it’s pretty much guaranteed at this point.

The first “official” hint that BR is headed our way came straight from a new in-game cinematic that came with the Season Two update. As you can see in the tweet below, it definitely looks like a reference to a BR mode.
