Rare Pokémon Cards Up For Sale At $1 Million Each

Do you have a spare $1,000,000 or £800,000 lying around?  Well of course you do!  And are you a big Pokémon fan?  The chances are that if you’re reading this article, then you probably are.  In that case, you might want to buy one of the rarest Pokémon Cards of all-time, in-fact, you might as well buy two, maybe even three!

Ok, I know not all of us can fork out millions just for a splurge of retail therapy, but if you happen to have millions burning a hole in your pocket, then look no further then eBay seller by the name of smpratte, who is selling three (as well as others) extremely rare Pokémon Cards at a cool $1m each.

One such card is the 1997 Pikachu No.3 Trainer, which was only awarded to winners of the First Official Pokémon Tournament in Japan of 1997.  Apparently only 4 copies of this card were ever awarded.  A second card in question is the Pikachu No.1 Trainer, which again, was only awarded to winners of the same tournament and it is believed that only 4 copies were also awarded.

If you can’t afford either of these cards, then never fear, it’s not all doom and gloom, because you can “Make an Offer” if you can’t quite spare the required $1m. As an added bonus, purchase of the cards do come with free postage.  There is also a significant cheaper option of just $500,000, a one of a kind, 2001 Tropical Wind Trophy Card.

However, if all else fails, the eBay seller is selling other single cards from as little as $8 with a $12 shipping fee, so we’ll be getting no free postage on these transactions, unfortunately.
