Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Teases Upcoming New Content

As Season One of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare begins to wind down, the developers at Infinity Ward have given players a peek behind the curtain, teasing what we can expect to be seeing the game in the coming weeks.

In the most-recent community update, Infinity Ward teased the release of both Shipment 24/7 and Shoot House 24/7 playlists, along with other new game modes and some bonus XP events.

According to the devs, Grind mode will soon be featured in a 2v2 variety, plus we’ll soon see playlists featuring the two smaller maps too.

In the blog, Infinity Ward writes: “We’re planning a few things for next week, like a some 2v2 Grind action maybe?

“OR….maybe a playlist for Shipment 24/7 AND a playlist for Shoot House 24/7?”

In preparation for Season Two of Modern Warfare, the developers also announced that are some experience point events coming soon, which will allow players to meet their XP goals before the end of the season.

“We’ve also got some XP events planned, like 2XP, 2X Weapon XP, AND 2X Tiers, so keep an eye out for when these go live next week!” says the blog post.

There’s no start date for Season Two just yet, but it’s likely we’ll see Season One ending in the coming weeks.

Speaking of Season Two, it seems as though some of the upcoming weapons may have already been leaked. The rumours stem from known CoD leaker, The Gaming Revolution, who this time is claiming that One in the Chamber and All or Nothing may be added to the game.

The YouTuber goes on to claim that quite a few new weapons will be added to the game as well. These are supposedly going to include the Ballistic Knife, a new SMG and a new LMG.

It’s also claimed that the highly-anticipated (though yet to be confirmed) battle royale mode has been delayed. In fact, it’s being claimed that we won’t be getting it at all this season, with next season looking more likely.

As always, take the rumours with a pinch of salt for now.
