Call Of Duty: Warzone Is Changing Its Gas Circle In New Update

Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the most popular games in the world right now, but that doesn’t mean the free-to-play Battle Royale is perfect. There are a number of issues in the game right now, and one of those is the gas circle.

Like most titles in the BR genre, Warzone sees players drop into an ever-shrinking map. In Warzone, it’s gas that forces players together in the shrinking landscape, but it comes with a few issues. Outrunning the gas if you’re caught on the border can give enemies a clear shot at you, and – let’s face it – outrunning the noxious cloud is next to impossible anyway.

It looks like changes to the gas cloud will be headed our way very soon though, at least according to the latest blog update from Infinity Ward.

Outlining some of the big changes coming in the next game update, which will be live on April 28th, the company simply said the update will “[Adjust] the speed and sizing of the circle in Warzone.”

Whether that means we’ll now be able to outrun it, or if the actual time spent in danger will be adjusted remains to be seen.

Speaking of the impending update, you might need to clear some space on your hard drive as it’s been announced that April 28th’s update will require an extra 15GB of space.

Infinity Ward writes: “Next week also holds some playlist updates. Modern Warfare will see Shoot the Ship 24/7 (now with Cranked and Grind in the mix!) along with some fun Gunfight variations. There’s also something new to chase. Can we interest you in Obsidian camo? Or maybe you want to mix and match blueprint weapon attachments to your heart’s content, even on another blueprint weapon…”
