Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Teaser Shows Map Changes Are Coming

A brand-new teaser for the next Season of Call of Duty: Warzone has surfaced, and it looks as though the map is going to see some pretty big changes!

The short teaser trailer doesn’t give too much away, but it already appears to confirm one of the rumours we’d previously heard: that trains will be making their way to Warzone.

The trailer comes from developer Infinity Ward, who gave pro streamer NICKMERCS a glimpse of the action before it was shared to YouTube by known CoD leaker, TheGamingRevolution.

The footage isn’t the best quality, but you can definitely see a train making its way through Verdansk, aligning with rumours that circulated earlier this month. VGC reported at the time that Warzone’s football stadium will get an ‘open interior,’ but perhaps even more exciting, a loot-filled train which will be constantly circling the entirety of the map.

The publication also went on to claim that Season Five will start to introduce elements we’ll be seeing in CoD’s as-of-yet-unannounced 2020 release. How exactly this will work isn’t yet clear, but it makes sense for Activision to want to ramp up the hype through its free-to-play Battle Royale, Warzone.

Meanwhile, the upcoming game has been hit with some leaks after a new Activision title appeared on the Microsoft store. Entitled “The Red Door,” the game is believed to be a codename for the next CoD – something which has pretty much now been confirmed by dataminers.
