Call of Duty: Warzone is a pretty stellar game but that’s not to say it’s without its bugs. Thankfully, Activision and Infinity Ward have been pretty forthcoming with the glitches and bug fixes, and the game’s latest patch has addressed one of the game’s most controversial weapon blueprints: The Line Breaker.
In case you didn’t know, The Line Breaker blueprint was discovered to be massively overpowered compared to the weapon it’s based on, the standard M14 EBR.
The huge imbalance caused some players to believe the weapon was purposefully OP in a ploy to make a pay-to-win gun. The Line Breaker was only available through the higher tiers of the Battle Pass, meaning only those who’d paid for the Pass could access it.

However, it seems the conspiracy theories have amounted to nothing, as it looks as though The Line Breaker blueprint really was just accidentally OP.
In the game’s latest patch, the notes declare the following update to the game: “fixed an issue where ‘The Line Breaker’ variant of the EBR could out perform the base version of the same weapon.”
So there you have it. It seems the OP issue was purely down to a bug. Sorry, conspiracy theorists!
That’s not the only thing that the patch introduced though, as it came alongside the massive update which kicked off Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season Three.
A new Season of course means a new Battle Pass. This time you’ll be getting immediate access to one of the new operators, Alex, who you’re probably familiar with thanks to the MW campaign.
New weapons, maps and modes are also coming in Season 3, including three new Multiplayer Maps: Talsik Backlot, Hovec Sawmill and Aniyah Incursion. You can check out our list of everything that we can expect from Season Three right here.
