A eagle-eyed fan has spotted an Easter egg in the recently-released footage for CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 and it’s absolutely perfect.
Spotted in the background just above a cluttered desk in a segment of the 50 minute gameplay teaser, a poster can be seen sporting the words: “No Life 3.”
This is, of course, a nod to the much-requested and always-ignored fan request for Valve to release Half Life 3, something which has now become a meme in its own right.
Nice move, CD Projekt Red!
Posting a screen-grab of the image to Reddit, user Berger_With_Fries captioned the post saying: “cd projekt red throwing some shade at Valve in the gameplay reveal with a ‘no life 3’ poster [sic]”
“Outstanding, all developers should start easter egging hl3 somewhere in there [sic] games,” replied one user.
Lol.

It might not be Half Life 3, but Cyberpunk 2077 has the whole gaming world in an uproar with its gorgeous world.
Players will be given a lot of freedom in how they want to approach different situations. A big part of that will come down to what abilities you choose, and how you choose to use them.
We’re not sure what abilities will be available. All we know is that there will be a ‘lot’ of them.
As expected from a huge open world RPG game from CD Projekt Red, there will also be the typical quest system and a variety of dialogue choices that may or may not impact the direction of the story.
There will be a variety of skill trees and paths to progress through, as well as 6 different skills you’ll be able to level up and upgrade as you play. So far, we know of four skills – strength, intelligence, constitution, and ‘cool’. More on that skill later.
When you shoot an enemy, the damage you do will appear on the screen, similar to Borderlands and Fortnite. We’re not yet sure if enemies will have health bars above their heads, but it sounds likely.
With this in mind, Cyberpunk 2077 sounds like it’ll have a shooter style that’s more in-line with Destiny, The Division 2, and Borderlands, as opposed to something like Call of Duty or Halo.
Are you hyped for Cyberpunk 2077?
